The Daily Programme

Foundation 1 and 2

The morning begins with the arrival of children for an 8.15 am. There is a break half the way through the morning session, when a snack of fruit and a drink of milk or water is provided, and children enjoy a breath of fresh air out of doors. The session ends at 12.00 noon.
 
Children staying for lunch join the F3 children to eat at 12 noon and are ready to go home at 12.30 pm.
 
The Foundation afternoon begins at 12.30 pm with the arrival of children who may wish to come just for the afternoon. A snack of a biscuit and a  drink of milk or water follows a play in the garden mid-afternoon. The afternoon for F1, F2 and F3 ends at 3.30 pm.
 
Foundation 3, Year 1 and Year 2
The morning begins with Registration at 8.40 am, followed by Assembly at   8.50 am. The first two lessons begin at 9.10 am and end at 10.10 am. Break time in the playground lasts for 20 minutes and is followed by two more lessons. Years 1 and 2 finish working at 12.15 pm and go out to play before lunch at 12.30 pm.
 
Year 1 and Year 2 have lunch at 12.30pm;playtime ends at 1.20 pm. The afternoon begins at 1.20 pm and ends at 3.40 pm for Years 1 and 2. Year 2 go over to the Junior School for PE and Games.
